Board

Batavia’s Board is made up of elected Cape York community members who represent 3 Traditional Owner groups. 

The 3 Traditional Owner groups are Northern Kaanju, Atambaya and Yinwum.
There are 9 Directors with 3 Directors for Northern Kaanju, Atambaya and Yinwum representing each Traditional Owner Group. 

Directors are elected for 2 years. A Chairperson is nominated at each Board meeting.
