Membership

Batavia membership is open to First Nations persons (aged 18 years and over) who identify as, and are recognised by their community as, being an Atambaya, Northern Kaanju or Yinwum descendent, having connection to the Batavia area.

The full text of the rules relating to membership of the corporation can be found in the Rule Book. You can request a membership application, or a copy of the rule book, by sending an email to larnie@batavia.org.au.

Once your membership application has been completed, return it to Batavia at our email address – larnie@batavia.org.au.

Once received,  your membership application will be considered by the Board of Directors.  As a member of Batavia, you can attend, speak, and vote at general meetings (including annual and special general meetings).
